Stainless Steel 321 Hexsteel, 0Cr18Ni10Ti,SUS321 Hexmesh
HexGrate is a hexagonally formed rust or mesh, specifically developed as a reinforcement of different fire-proof linings and ground surfaces. It is used as a thin-walled anchorage system to retain the positioning of fire-proof and refractory materials. In addition the upper stratum or surface of the lining is stress relieved when using HexGrate. Crack formations and spalling are therefore prevented. Through the stability of HexGrate and in collaboration with its special design a reduction of attrition or respectively abrasion can be achieved. This means a substantially longer service life. The special riveting technique of the individual HexGrate staves, allow it to be adapted to many different forms. It can be rolled down to a diameter of D = 550 mm and be adjusted to almost all possible geometrical forms. Additionally a very high absorption of high temperature fluctuations is guaranteed due to the flexible riveting technique. It is ideal for a wide range of linings, for example cyclones, reactors, and for almost all forms of equipment which are exposed to high temperatures.
