Pultruded FRP is now recognized as the best structural material for cooling tower construction because it offers:

The pultruded grating is fabricated with the following characteristics;
1.Resin-Vinylester resin providing excellent chemical resistance.
2. Reinforcement-The I-shaped bearing bars are made from continuous fiberglass rovings and surface veil of E-type glass.
3.Content of glass fiber-"The bearing bars contain +/-55 % of glass fibers (in weight).
4. Dimensions
Thickness:38 mm
Opening:90 % or 152,4mm
Weight: 3,5kg/m2.

Color: bearing bars are yellow, connecting bars are dark grey.

Efficiency and Pressure drop of the demister are function of the PAD design and the specific parameters of the process application. Grid opening must be>90% to guarantee the Efficiency and Pressure drop.
