Stainless Steel Honeycomb Core

Stainless steel honeycomb is spot welded which offers better performance and stability when compared against adhesively-bonded stainless cores.

Honeycomb cores of various dimensions and functionalities are available in cell sizes ranging from 0.8mm to 42mm in diverse shapes such as camber, ring, tape, machined honeycomb and other complex patterns.

Honeycomb has the following applications:

1. Air, water and gas flow straighteners and filters
2. EMI/RF Shielding
3. Tables for water jets
4. Structural Honeycomb for Aircraft, thrust reversers, exhaust nozzles,
5. Aircraft Engine Honeycomb Seals
6. Power Generation Turbine Seals

The materials we use in manufacturing include copper, titanium alloys, stainless steel and other high temperature alloys (e.g. Haynes, Hastelloy-X and Inconel). Other foil thicknesses 0.10mm, 0.13mm and 0.15mm are also available on request.

NOTE: The maximum size we can manufacture for a honeycomb flow straightener is 2500 x 2500mm.
