PIPE COATING WIRE MESH

 

Pipe winding mesh is used as reinforcement for steel pipe which will be coated with concrete and then submerged in water or earth. The wire mesh acts as a holding and a reinforcement agent during the process of concrete coating thus gives additional strength to the coated pipe.

We offer 2 types of pipe coating mesh, welded pipe coating mesh and woven hexagonal pipe coating mesh. The mesh is manufactured by state of art equipment and is one of the best qualities offered. Our pipe coating mesh are supplied in different widths, roll lengths, and crimp factors in function of the requirements and the equipment of the coating contractors and of the pipe specification. The result is Cost-effective coating that meets all specification.

We Make Pipe Coating Mesh

Pipe coating is a wire mesh made of galvanized low carbon steel wire and it is of two types – welded pipe coating mesh and woven hexagonal pipe coating mesh. Pipe winding mesh is used as reinforcement for steel pipe which will be coated with concrete and then submerged in water or earth. The wire mesh acts as a holding and a reinforcement agent during the process of concrete coating thus gives additional strength to the concrete coated pipe. The wire mesh helps in holding the concrete intact even after drying preventing the steel pipe from corrosion by not exposing the steel pipe to water or moisture for many years of installation. This helps in the longer life of the pipe laid to transfer water oil as per end user requirements. With precise opening and heavy coating we shall produce the excellent quality mesh suitable for pipe coating applications.

 

Welded Pipe Coating Mesh

Welded pipe coating mesh is manufactured by welding a series of parallel longitudinal wires to transverse wire to from rectangular openings. The longitudinal wires shall be crimped or not crimped.

Typical wire diameters from 1.4mm to 3.0mm are used in this application depending upon the thickness of the concrete coating and the diameter of the pipe. The longitudinal wires are corrugated specially during the process of mesh production in order to accelerate the holding capacity of the concrete during the coating process.

Woven Hexagonal Pipe Coating Mesh

The hexagonal wire mesh fabric is manufactured by twisting wires to from a series of openings; hexagonal in shape, with one of the edges of the fabric shall be constructed to include a selvage wire. Additional longitudinal reinforcing wires are included when specified by the purchaser.

  • ASTM A185: Standard specification for steel welded wire reinforcement, plain, for concrete.
